Default Not as much power as before??

Before I got my diff replaced at the dealer for the old one blowing, i used to be able to redline it when doing burnouts...now I can't seem to get it past 3,500 rpm. Anybody know what could be the issue??? The gear ratio is the same because in 4x4 it doesnt bind so the gearing cant't be wrong 3.55 posi.

Oyyea no problem getting it past 3500, it'll chipr the tires to like 2 grand then take off when i stomp on it on dry pavement. I have the SC programmer too. First to second at WOT shifts at 5800 second to third i believe is about the same or a little lower. I knew they didnt flash the computer because my rev limiter was still upped to 6grand. even with 4 people in the truck or just me 3500 it doesnt have the muscle to push it past there. I did it with 4 people in the truck and about 200 lbs in the bed and got it to about 2800-3000. Its really weird. And you would think past 3500 it would be no problem cuz thats where the power band starts kicking in. then wet pavement its no problem at all.

I'd give this a shot..

Reprogram it back to Stock settings, drive it around a bit.
Then program back to what you want.
See if that makes a difference.

Return to stock with the SC, pull out the fuse for the PCM, key over a couple times till you hear a couple dings and see a the lights blink on your dash, put the fuse back in, reprogram with your SC.

Good info to know FFMedic.
Just a question here.

I assumeyou turn the ignition back off before you put the fuse back in?
