yes it does work, my girlfriend and i tried it, i went to the gas station a mile away called my girlfriend at home, she hit the unlock on the fob i had the other one in my hand didnt push any buttons on it and she could lock and unlock my truck. Maybe it works only on certain cell phones or close enough to towers or some technical stuff like that but it will work

 

ive always wanted to get a copy of a key made and put it underneath the truck where i can get it if i lock myself out.......i think that its the simplest solution.......just dont let anyone see where u put it........

 

Put it on a screw attaching to your license plate (obviously put the key behind the plate)

 

a buddy of mine used to use stainless cable and hang an extra key in his gas tank...down the filler neck.....never had to use it but it was a "novel" idea

 

did he have a lockable gas door?.....lol

 

weird... i was at a friends house and was told about this.. had him run way down the street and tryed it, didn't work.. tryed it several times. no go.
