What saves you guys gas?
A couple already said it. And no, it is not park it, nor is it dump a bunch of mods into it.
Keep the RPMs under 3K at all times.
Keep the tires inflated
When on the highway keep the cruise on and under 70. The close to 60ish the better. I think my truck actaully did the best at 58, but I do not want to get rear ended
The tonneau debate was disproved by myth busters who did all their tests in a controlled enviorment.

You bought a truck. You are not going to get anything remotely close to what anyone would consider "good gas mileage". If you wanted that instead of a big badass truck, you would have got a Prius... I say drive the truck and enjoy doing it. Gas prices then are the cost of entertainment.

i always see people go flying at red lights then slamming on the gas. if a light goes red, i take my foot of the gas and just roll up, or in my other car i just drop it in neutral.

I got to agree here FFMedic1479I bought a truck cause that is what I wanted so i am going to drive it and enjoy it even if I only get 13mpg, at least im going to look good when I drive it around
I don't look good no matter what I drive [8D]but I agree, if you want a truck, expect the bad mpg and live with it. A small Nissan Frontier would be my choice if I can't afford a Hemi anymore. I figure I paid so little for this truck and the money I save doing my own maintenance makes up for the difference.

Just not out of another RAM
