Air Horns are In!!! Holy Sh!t Pics added
Yes the horns are in. No I don't have any pics yet. To dark to get a good pic. Yes I have a headache too.
Right now I have the basic install complete. Meaning it is in the truck and it works. But as I mentioned in my previous post, I want to protect the compressor as best as I can. I have the compressor on the right (if you are looking at the truck) frame mount on the side. I have the horns facing down and mounted on the left side of the truck on cross member of the frame. Air tubing routed through the inside of the lip of the front bumper. Looks great, which is what I was going for. Loud as hell too. I will have pics for everyone tomorrow.
Now, what I plan to do to finish the install to protect thecompressor is to make an air dam out of plexy glass. There will be a piece to cover the top portion of the compressor and a piece to cover the bottom. Leaving the side exposed. The plexy will be painted black to match the frame.
The last thing I want to say about this unit is to anyone that wants to put the compressor in your cab, forget about it, that thing is loud.
I am off for now, Lost season finale starting in a few minutes.

i got mine in the cab....i rather have it in there so i kno its protected....also i dont want people to kno i have the horns cuz they hear the compressor runnin...thats just my 2 cents....cant wait to see how it turned out and how it sounds
I got lucky on the price on this one. I paid $188.00 shipped for the kit and about $10 in extra parts. Needed a switch and some different connectors and some hardware. Got it from Seige Engineering off of EBay. They have an EBay store so do a search for them. I know you can get the 3 horn set up directly from them for $209 + shipping so if you bid on one, don't go to high. They have kits closing almost everyday on the bidding.
After I get done with work, I'll get some pics put up and try to get a video or sound clip up.

Here are 2 pics of the install. I hope you can see how it is mounted the frame ok as I could not get any better pictures. I did not take a pic of the switch because the switch that I bought is horrible. Very tacky looking and I am going to change it tomorrow. Can DF host sound clips or videos so that I can put a sound clip of the horn up? Let me know how and I will do this tomorrow when all my neighbors are at work. LOL!!!
