Header Help
I have two questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This weekend I will be putting on Ceramic-Coated Pacesetter Mid-Tube Headers while keeping the stock cats and Y-pipe. Is there a specific order in which I should tighten the bolts? Also, I'm running the superchips 91 performance mod with 93 octane. I have the CAI and flowmasters. With the headers, will I run too lean and is there a way to check my fuel to air ratio?
for bolt tightening i usually go outside in, ex left outside then right inside back and forth. As for running to lean you shouldn't thats what the O2 sensor is for. I'd strongly suggest putting some locktite on the threads. Also if possible you should take a few pics of the install process to post up
it adds another bung in the exhaust after the cat to determine the af ratio of your engine. it reads the same way the trucks computer does except it just shows you a read out with no adjustments. the kit you get (if you get one) will have exact install directions and everything needed

Locktite can your best friend or your worst enemy, if you never have an exhaust leak then you should be fine, if you havea gasket blow out you will be cussing whoever told you to put locktite on the bolts
