You guys with 07's.....do you not read the entire thread???? It cannot be done without a programmer!
I did read that in the threadbut I alsoread in my 2007 manual that says it CAN be done. Even an additional information sheet that the dealer included with my truck says so. Since I have wasted 2 hours now trying to get it to change I will look into getting it to the dealer to change from the honk to silent.

The instructions for my 06 came on a addendum inserted in the manual pouch. It was on a yellow piece of paper with a few other addendums. Work the first time around for me. Looks like the 07's have changed ... very weird Dodge would do this?

The instructions for the 2004 worked perfectly. Took between 4 and 10 seconds.[sm=lockeddance.gif]

Do what I did incase they try to charge you. Make sure to point out in the book showing howto do it. Stand there and watch them try to do it and then say it must be broke, I want it fixed.

That's exactly what I did! They tried to charge me like $40 or something, and I told my Service Mgr. that since it was in the manual, then it must be broke!

Definately. I did fall off the turnup truck, but I didn't land on my head. I am fairly decent about playing tough with the dealer if they are trying to screw with me but thanks for the advice.
