Well I too just took mine for the first oil change, and told them about not being able to do it. They said that the 07 had to be done with a programmer and wanted to charge 40 dollars to do it. I pointed out in the manual that it said I could do it so it must be broke and I needed it fixed. Walked away with it working and at no charge for it.

My buddy has an '07 and he got his turned off; he did it this way:
1. Get in vehicle, put seatbelt on.
2. Turn ignition to on without starting engine.
3. Release seatbelt button.
4. unlock doors to vehicle.
5. get out of vehicle and run around it three times at a counter-clockwise rotation with pink underwear over your head and a feather duster sticking out of your ***.
6. Repeat if necessary.

The seatbelt way was not what the manual that came with mine said to do. Mine just said to do the above steps without the ignition key nor the seatbelt.

The above one were the ones that were stated in the stuff I was given from my dealer when I bought my 2007. It could be that the 2007 does not work with these steps and I need to do the ignition switch/seatbelt to get mine to stop honking. Like I said I tried for about an hour using the above instructions so I am going to try the other and see what that does. If it does not work I can chock up another hour that I am pissing off my neighbors.

Ok my neighbors are probably pissed off enough and I was not able to get it to turn the honk off. I was able to get it to open all doors from a single push of the unlock button.

Thanks for the info on the 2006 model. For some reason my manual says you have to be in the car with the key lock in the on position and do the same steps you listed. That was obviously wrong. Thanks a bunch for the correct information above that you have to be OUTSIDE the truck.
