My next truck purchase is a bed liner. Been looking into the LineX brand (mostly because there is a dealer right in town). Went to the web site and this video caught my eye. Anyone have problems with theirs... I have had Speedliner in 2 past trucks and loved the product, but the company I used closed down.

I asked my father-in-law's buddy who owns a body shop if he does them. He said not anymore because of too many complaints from customers. About a year after he sprayed them, customers were coming back complaining that the color faded from a nice black to a powdery gray. Sort of like when you wash a black t-shirt a few dozen times.

I love my Line-X it's awsome and has never let me down! as for the powdery grey look, it's just dust and sand from the road. I use a power washer and it truns nice and black again.

Any thought of using an Armorall like product to help prevent fading? I just got my truck 2 weeks ago and it came with AlphaLiner.

What problems did he have? What kind of work did he do with his bed... constructions, haulin, etc. I loved my speedliner, nothing I put in the back could put the slightest nick in it. But like I said, the dealer I went to went out of buisness

He gets chips all the time not even from anything big and being loaded wrong, some of it started to just flake off of the side of the bed, its completely faded and nothing will bring the color back and something got spilled on it and ate a spot of it away
