I have a QC 4.7, but all I really use it for is work. And I get 16 mpg. I have heard most hemi's getting 10 to 9. I'm not using it as a race truck or to show off really, just to haul lighter loads. Now if I was going to be hauling a hell of alot of equipment then I would have gone with the Hemi. But I just use it for lawn equipment. Don't know if that helped at all.

My Hemi gets 14 mpg average for the tank and I get 18-19 mpg when I do alot of highway driving.

i own a 4.7 that is a hemi killer but its an 05 dak with major motor mods. i would say take the hemi and shove it. if you want power go diesel. that was my mistake going from a fullsize to the dak. and most deisel put a hurtin on me at the track.
