I was going to buy the hemi in the quadcab, but am now thinking the 4.7 engine instead in the qudcab.I would like someinput. Money is a big thing. I just don't want to spend the extra on a hemi if its not worth it. I would love to have a hemi, but is it really needed. I'm not going to be towing boats tools or houses. Just like the truck.
I went from the 4.7 to the Hemi... and Love it... So much more power... It might cost an extra grand buying the truck... But you should be much happier with the power.. and don't worry about gas mileage... It is pretty much the same as the 4.7...
He right... After i bought my 4.7... I had wished i had gotton a Hemi... But i had to wait.. and finally the day came and i iasked myself why i ddi'nt do this for first time...
The 4.7 H/O is one hell of a hemi Killer, But unless your driving a Dakota, a 4.7 in A Ram is to little, to late and will use the same if not more flue than a 5.7.
I don't know if they are still having it, but I knew Dodge was having a FREE Hemi upgrade. Check into that. Also, when I bought mine, I told the dealer that I did not want anything but the Hemi. Reasons are that when you own a truck all your friends want your help to move or pull something, when you start modding your truck, you have more options and can feel the power increase 10 fold compared to the 4.7. You can still do the same cosmetic mods and make the truck look mean. And as stated above, if you have the money to get the Hemi and you don't, you will be hating yourself in about 10k miles. LOL!!
Last but not least, it is the Hemi!!!!!!!!
