Need some help from experienced truck owners
Greetings! I'm actually a loan officer, and I've registered myself on these forums to try and get a question answered. I've got tied up in a dealership which has had a history of lying to my company about the adds vehicles have, and trying to inflate their value. The question I've had trouble getting answered is, can a vehicle have a Hemi engine, but NOT be an SLT trim model? The customer is confirming the vehicle has a Hemi, but is NOT an SLT, is this possible?
Any help would be great appreciated.

I don't know... telling everyone you are a loan officer probably doesn't make you any friends around here... unless you set up special financing for forum members... oh, and shocker, a dealership that lies, where did you ever find one of those?
Yes, a hemi can be in a non SLT model.

Think of it this way, if everyone that financed vehicle was as experienced, people wouldn't get screwed at dealerships with inflated collateral, think of it as I'm protecting my customers (any myself) with verifying collateral. Thanks very much.

Yes, it's possible to have a hemi Ram and not an SLT. It can be an ST, Laramie or Sport also (I may have missed one). Good way to check is to go to the dodge.com website and select "build" and see which models can get a hemi. I believe they all can.

Also, if you have the vin you can go to the dodge website, go to existing customers, and under there is a link that you can request a build list based on that vin. And that will give you ever single thing that Dodge put into that truck. And that is straight from Dodge, so no one would should question it.
I hope that my previous post did not offend you... hard to convey sarcasim on the internet. I meant nothing by it.
