yeah it will make the engine louder, and will give you better throttle response. But 4-6 MPG???? Only if your air filter is so clogged now its taking about that many mpg away

if you wanna make the most out of your CAI i'd strongly suggest upgrading to a more free flowing exhaust along with it

i love my flowmaster super 40. I have the 3" inlet and dual 2 1/2" outlets. Paid 80 bucks for it and $50 to have it welded in. I already had dual tail pipes though. You'd have to pay more for dual pipes. Flowmaster and magnaflow make single outlet mufflers that are very good too, that would be cheaper to have installed.

I have the filter only as of now. Tomorrow, the tube from the filter to the intake are going in. Not sure about the mileage though. 4 - 6 miles seems a little high. I got that with my exhaust, tuner, and Airaid filter when they were all installed at the same time. I would be inclined to say 1 -2 miles better.

Are you getting the filter only, or the whole intake kit? Meaning filter and PVC tube to intake.
