sounds like a problem to me maybe. I have driven with my dad in his 4.7L RCSB 4x4 stick shiftand he can spin the tires easy. he's got more guts than me I drive the thing like a granny cuz it aint mine and it's new. but i've seen it spin em into second gear and it'll squeal em up into third.

It is a little easier to spin the tires with a stick.

x2

Manual transmission trucks/cars tend to have a bit more hp/torque then an automatic, plus you have more control of the power with a stick then you do with an automatic.

Not to mention, a RC Ram weighs about 3-400lbs lighter then a QC Ram....

if your truck has the 20's it will probably be pretty hard to spin them. my hemi has a tough time spinning the tires with the 20's on it but sometimes it will let go pretty hard just check out the video
http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...4500e3b5cc.htm
it took a while to get the tires spinning and i didn't use any help from water or gravel to do it either.

ooo he's got an auto. wow what's the point in getting the 4.7 if ur gonna get the automatic at that point you may as well get the hemi because the option of a stick is really the only benefit in my opinion for the 4.7 over the hemi. and I woudl definately take the stick shift 4.7 over the hemi auto anyday.

that's not the point I didn't buy a truck to be a drag racer. I go for the fact that one a manual is more reliable two its way cooler to shift your own gears and three way more easy to maintain. and also like I said that's my dad's 4.7L that aint what i drive. My CTD will smoke ur hemi's stick six ways till sunday and its a stick shift too.

lol, hopefully this weekend I got the bill from college all is well and I just got off the phone with a dealer who said he has an 06 with the six speed still left on his lot. I find it hard to believe that an 06 is still out therebut we shall see this weekend. I'm starting a new job now so I don't have time this week to go look but this job is paying for the truck so gotta do good and keep it. but saturday will tell the tale. I'm really iffy on it cuz it's black and my dad's leftover 06 has lots marks from acid rain and stuff seeing as dealers never find the time to even use a cheap spray wax. they arnt bad on his but if ur real picky like I am and u really get up close you can see em. if that's how this one is i'll push for them to lower the price a good bit if they don't then i guess i'll keep looking. o yea and the guy said he wants it gone so he can get some new 6.7's in so hopefully that means he'll try to make a good deal. if it's anything like when we got my dad's i dnno.
