This seems like the 100th thread I've seen on this forum in the short few weeks I've been here, I still am waiting to hear from somebody that has MDS turned off and how the mileage was affected. if it's only 1-2 MPG I may want to turn it off myself so I can run exhaust like I want, cuz I don't drive enough miles a year to worry about 1mpg.

My city is the same but my highway did go down a couple...well worth it IMO. Not just for the sound either...the ability to actually maintain a constant speed is priceless.

What was your mileage before you turned it off? I currently average 15.5-16mpg.

The overhead before hung around 17 now 16 without mds actual miles devided by gallons has always varied between 12-13 depending on the weight of my foot and mix of city and hwy driving ( usually leave the stop sign quick and travel 80 on the hwy with quick bursts above).

Some people may still wonder about mds, turning it off and affect on mpg.
