Default Wax your carrot....

Well, not your carrot, necessarilly, but how about your truck?

I'm not the biggest fan of waxing anything. I own 2 4x4s, 2 motorcycles and all of them are either black, or at least a dark color. Waxing them is even less fun since dust, streaks or anything shows up even easier then lighter, or light colored vehicles.

I'm also not a fan of commercials or new fads, but I gotta tell ya.....

I just waxed my wife's (You're all waiting for me to say a$$ aren't you....??) Jeep Liberty. It's black.

I also used the new Turtle Wax, Synthetic ICE Polish/Wax. All I have to say is....

UNFACKENBELIEVABLE...........

This stuff is so Easy-on, Easy-off and leaved a streak-free shine, it's absolutely amazing. It's also advertized as "Won't leave a haze on plastic trim parts"...

And....it does not. If anything, the plastic trim parts that you get it on, end up looking like you Armour-Alled them.

Of course, it may wash off on the first rain, or make the paint peel off in anything over 15 mph winds, but up to this point, I couldn't be happier.......

I use the same thing and have been very impressed with the results. I use Plexus on my chrome rims and 3M clear bra. Both work great!

Didn't, cause I used the Maguire's Claybar...... Clay is basically clay, to me.

However, If you take the "Micro-Towel" that Turtle Wax gives you and wet it with Maguire's Detailing Spray, it makes wax removal 10 times easier....

I've done that trick with most waxes, to avoid streaking...........

Meguiars makes a nice synthetic wax too -- their Tech Wax. I admit I'm a big fan of the synthetics now vs. the old tech stuff. I have a Porter Cable polisher for the big jobs but for normal work, a quick application of Tech Wax works wonders.
