ive got a 2002 1500 5.9l i did a little burn out in reverse, just a quick stomp, and now i have no reverse. can you help me out?

Dude... no good... absolutly no good.

As for reflashing you computer... do a PCM reset... take the fuse out of the fuse box marked for the pcm, turn your key a couple times (don't turn it over, just to the power on position) the truck will ding a couple times, put the fuse back in. I don't know if there is some kind of tranny protection built in that this will reset, it is worth a try. Other then that you are SOL.

 

Sorry about yer Tranny bro. I hope its a cable or linkage dropped/broke off.

When i flash my PCM... Pull the fuse... then hold the key to start until it dings a couple times... Other then Good luck....

 

Were you rolling forward or in drive when you threw it into reverse?
