Default K&N vs AirRaid Intake?

I haven't seen much talk as far as K&N intakes go
( http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-1533 ) I have an '03 with a Hemi. Already have an AirRaid intake, I believe its this one ( http://airaid.com/300-125-1_Dodge.asp ) bought the truck used and this was already on. I was just curious as to if there would be any difference between the two.
Thanks

Its really just a personal prefernce. I heard the people who started Airraid used to work for K&N. I like the Airraid myself but then again its just personal prefernce. I tried the drop in K&N filter and soon realized I needed a true CAI.

k&n and airaid are both crap. go with an afe or aem brute force. i have the afe high breather intake. massive filter and massive induction. i had a k&n on my last vehicle and i didnt notice much gains from it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu_t1-3WxMc

The IAT and MAP sensors built into your engine
will tell you truthful information
about how different air intakes work.

If you buy an aftermarket air intake and
the IAT does not show lower temperature
and the MAP sensor show higher air pressure
you are being taken as a 'sucker'
and everyone with a Ram pickup is better off
if would be suckers rebel
and sent the stuff back for full refunds
which reduces the profits of people selling worthless mods.

You can do your own on-road dyno tests
to evaluate mods:

MeTaL,
Just rememberyou needIntake and Exhaust. More IN needs More OUT. One without the other isn't as effective as both together.

Single sided (unbiased) research tactics never reallytake that into account. It is funny when the links post turn around and bitethem on the ****, contradictingtheir argument.

Anyone can research the Internet and Regurgitate usless information. We like to keep it real here so listen to those "Suckers" that have actual experience with the questions you have.

Default RE: K&N vs AirRaid Intake?

I just bought my truck a few months back used, with only 26k miles on it. It had an AirRaid Intake on it as well as a flowmaster exhaust. I just purchased the Superchip Tuner for it last week and just noticed that the store I work at (Napa) stocks the K&N Intake for the '03s. With my employee discount it would only run me about $220 and change so it was tempting...but from the responses, it seems like there isn't much of a difference between brands. Thanks for the responses
