I AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE A POWER CONTROL UNIT FOR MY 2003 HEMI. AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT ARE THE MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPERTECH AND SUPERCHIPS CONTROL MODULE? I KNOW THE PRICE IS DIFFERENT, BUT WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR YOUR MONEY AND ETC.? PLEASE HELP. THANKS.

Superchips. I have heard nothing but bad about hypertech. A couple other options is Bully Dog and Predator. Predator is coming out with one soon but the bully dog is available now and has the same options as the SC.

 

I would wait for the Diablo (Predator) it seems to have more options and for a bit less in cost. They dynoed the Predator at about 20 hp and lbs of torque at the wheel. I dont think you can do much better than that on a gas engine. Also the predator gives you more choices of programing.... I would hold off..

 

Im not yelling, I am at work and have to do a lot of typing in caps. So when do you think the diablo (predator) will be available? Thanks for the opinions.

End of July Boys.... as soon as I get it, I am bothering my brother to help me with it. From what I read it should be a breeze to install and set. He has one in his 5.9 TCD.

I told the wife.. she was like WTF.... but now she is going to Vegas for a weekend with my sister in law so we are even.... The power of brivery...

 

i have the superchips and love it. But am seriously interested on how the predator will work and if superchips will put out an upgrade to compete
