Super charger was $4000.00 last time I checked. Honestly, if I wanted a faster truck, I would trade for a V8 instead of letting go of some large ones.

Crap!!! I spent $500 on my ford & had it turbo'd and running right in about 1 week!!! ('Course, it helps that I work at a diesel shop, and still have 3 good turbo's sitting around )
Hey, eltupac: I have an idea, run the H### out of the v-6, and WHEN it blows up, find a HEMI at a junk yard & drop er in!!!!!

Yeah, I fugured that would be the case. By the time someone got the engine, trans, computer, ect, ect
it would be cheaper just to trade for a CUMMINS !!! YEAH !!!!!!!!

This system is very close to how I done my F-150. Pros: Cheaper & much easyer to install Cons: About 3/4 of a second lag time waiting for the pressure to build & the turbo to spool up. Remember, this will void any angine warranty, and you will have to take it to a tuner shop to have the ecu reprogrammed. I had to use 5.0 HO V8 injectors & high flow fuel pump to get enough fuel through mine, so you MIGHT have to change injectors also. Talk to the guys at STI. They are verry informative and seem to have a good handle on what they are dooing. I will wait untill my warranty runs out AND also wait for a couple of other people to supercharge / turbo their 3.7's to see how it works out before I attempt to boost mine. But I DO plan on dooing so latter, as I have personally felt the awsome results of turbocharging!

If you use the turbo to its full potential every time you drive, you will lose gas mileage, but if you go easy and drive normal, youll be fine.
