The first code is related to lake of air flow check the air filter and also clean the ETC this may trigger the second code due to dirt build up. If this doesn't fix the problem you wil have to replace the ETC>

The ETC is the Eletronic thottle control it's the throttle body. It is right on top of the intake. More than likely you will have to replace it>

Chadmech-The ETC is actually located under the fuse box. The "go" pedal is connected by cable to the ETC and then the ETC sends a signal to the TB to open or close the throttle thru the wiring harness, hence the term "drive by wire"

Sorry my bad, eletronic throttle body I meant. The sensor on the pedal is called the (APPS) accelorator positon sensor which sends to the throttle body. The throttle body is the problem in this case.

Thanks for the reply

Actually there is no sensor on the pedal. Like I said, the pedal is connected by a cable just like any go pedal. Thecable goes to the APPS whichis under the battery tray. The APPS is just a linear potentiometer (a variable resistor). It gives the PCM the signal on where the pedal is at so the pcm, thru the etc can send a signal to the throttle body. For troubleshooting your gripe, make surethe connectors on the TB and the APPS are tight. Check on how dirty your TB is and clean it if required. Use brake-cleaner only, don't use TB/Carb cleaner. Reset PCM and see how she goes.

Default codes p2175 and p2106

Hello everyone I"m new here to the Forum. though I have a couple of questions. I went and picked my daughter up in MS last night and when I got back in Nashville my engine light came on and the red lightning bolt flashed. I pulled over on the side of the road and notice that my 2003 Dodge 1500 was idling roughly. It has never done this until the lights came on last night. I continued on to the house and noticed it didn't have much power. Could some one please tell me what the problem might be and how I may fix it. I have only had this truck for 3 years. I did the code check and it gave me p2175 and p2106. Please help!!! Tyvm...Angie
