Default ? on hemis with 4wd manual shifters

I elongated my 4by shifter and put a B&M "T" handle on it to go with the other B&M shifter.

Now, I notice when I take off, even real easy and when the truck shifts, this thing is going forward/backward quite a bit.

Can you guys put your hand on your manual 4by shifter while you drive and let me know if yours does that?

Thanks before hand.

i'm not sure what you mean by "quite a bit", but mine does move some constantly. during take-off you can see/feel it moving and while driving you can feel it shaking/vibrating. that should be normal if it's connected directly to the t-case, it moves and flexes w/ the engine and tranny.

yep, mine moves quite a bit. just going over some mild bumps you can feel the tranny bounce. the fact that you elongated your shifter doesn't help. it only accentuates its movement.

Thanks for the replies. I know that by making it longer, I made it worse. Just wanted to be sure all of them move some. Mine moves on little bumps too.

Yes, this is normal.
Why did you put that on your t-case shifter? [sm=dontgetit.gif]
