RE: Ram 2500 Rough Ride help
All HD trucks run stiff. Its a badge of honor for buying a alpha truck. You could have bought a lesser truck but then you wouldnt be able to plow snow, or tow as much, orany other benefits of having a hard core truck. I have BFGoodrich Rugged trail tires (E load rated)and mine runs stiff. I hate mushy riding pickups so it doesnt bother me. You willget use to it. Play around with your tire pressure and keep your gass tank abouve 1/2 tank. I am running 60 psi front and 45 psi rear. This is great for normal to light hauling or towing. You dont need to be running more than that unless you are towing really big things.

I guess i expected a better ride -duh.
Thanks for your unbiased, professional reply. By having such a negative, smartmouth attitude, you now have, what we call down here, the "Gris Gris" [sm=alien.gif]. Good luck with YOUR truck.....

Mystrois right. 2500's are built for serious work and the stiffer suspension is to allow for that.

Scoots,
Start by setting the tire pressure at 40 psi cold---or the "empty" weight recommended tire pressure. Mine was really stiff too when I first picked it up, but it does loosen up over time, and, from the other direction, you get used to it some too.
If you want to spend some money trying to get it better, you could go to a KORE suspension setup, but it WILL set you back some bucks!!!

Why leave it alone? Honestly, Scoots, what did you expect? You didn't notice stiffness at all on a test drive or even the ride home immediately after buying it? I'm not trying to be a dick, but how'd you miss it?
Speaking from experience, hitch up a 25' travel trailer and the stiff ride vanishes into thin air. I'd even go as far as to call the ride buttery smooth. That's what the 2500's and 3500'swere built for.
