I am no expert, but I seriously doubt that any flowmaster could be more restrictive than the stock muffler.
But like I said, I'm no expert.

dynomax has a ultra flow with a X flow in the center, two inlets, two out lets, I had one installed on my 06 2500 Ram 5.7 6sp , when pushing up the RPMs the mufler sounds like a glass pack, othier wise the mufler is not loud, as for performance, removing the y pipe and a less restrictive mufler will give you a whole new animal, My mileage realy improved, but I was hopping for a more agressive sound.
Aviod this mufler, worse pos of **** going, I'm on my 3rd warenty mufler, the in lets and out lets are 2 close togethier, Blow out the seams and packing inside the mufler......

Magnaflow. Made more power on my F150 than the Flowmaster did and it is stainless so it won't rot out like my Flowmaster did.
