Good muffler for my 2500 hemi? Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc..???
I am looking to install anew muffler to give the truck a bit more sound but not excessive droning. Since my Hemi does not have MDS, what is a good muffler swap??
Magnaflow = great flow, ok sound.
Flowmaster (and I didn't believe this till someone showed me specs)=terrible flow (worse than stock in most cases), great sound.

dynomax has a ultra flow with a X flow in the center, two inlets, two out lets, I had one installed on my 06 2500 Ram 5.7 6sp , when pushing up the RPMs the mufler sounds like a glass pack, othier wise the mufler is not loud, as for performance, removing the y pipe and a less restrictive mufler will give you a whole new animal, My mileage realy improved, but I was hopping for a more agressive sound.
I love my Gibson Super Truck as well.

I am happy with the Magnaflow muffler I had put on a few months ago. The sound is deeper and slightly louder than stock. I picked up almost a half amile per gallon improvement and a noticeable increase in throttle response and power on hills.
