K&N Intake?
Any thoughts on the K&N intake system for the '06 3.7L V6?
I have been researching and I am thinking about purchasing this intake:

Anyone else using it that has a suggestion or input?

Does Mopar make an intake for the 3.7L. Either they don't make one or I am not finding it.
I have already put the K&N stock filter replacement in. Not that it is making any difference other than a little easier breathing. I like K&N I had them on both of my passed cars. But I figured if it is a Dodge I might as well go Mopar.

Oh well, I'll just have to go with the next best thing and get the K&N. I like it because it isn't metal. I don't want my truck to be loud, I wanna keep it deep and throaty.
Yeah, from my experience CAI is a huge misconception. The only thing it really does is take away all of the restrictions that your stock system has. The air it is sucking in is still hot from the engine bay and even if it was sucking in air any cooler its not gonna make a much of a difference anyway.
I am still kind of new to the world of trucks or domestic cars in general, I have always been an import enthusiast. My previous car was a built Toyota MR2 Turbo. That car was not meant to be a daily driver by any means though. My ultimate goes with this truck is to make it as fuel efficient as I can while tweaking a little more power out.
I think with intake, header, exhaust, superchip, and maybe a regear this truck could easily be 230-250wbhp and still make 20-22MPG. Am I crazy?
