Default Flows gave up on me

Well this is a first. Got back last weekend from a 3000 mile trip to Pa and back to Fl. Halfway up while I was at a drive through my exhaust started rattling. Not sure what it was but finished the trip. Got to Pa, looked under and could not find anything. Drove back to Fl, took it to the Speed Shop and they found that the muffler itself crapped out and the internal fins broke loose and are vibrating. The good news is that it is under warranty, they ordered a new exhaust and I get it in tomorrow morning. I hope they don't take to long as I may buy more stuff while I am there.. LOL!!!

that does suck... should have just gutted the muffler so it looks like its still on there but you have straight pipes!

That is what I would have done had the unit not been under warranty.

Did you have to send it back... keep it, you might want to do it later.

How does the AT3030 sound and how is the perfomance? I'm currently running 40series flows on mine but I read somewhere and Flowmaster confirmed that it is the wrong muffler to use on the Dodge Hemi as the engine flows too much for the exhaust and over time can F up the engine. Anybody have any thoughts on that? I like to flows for sound and my perceived performance but if it ain't the right muffler it ain't the right muffler.

i should be a salesmen. the muffler is stainless steel with lifetime warranty on the muffler. the labor warranty was **** happens... as i did it myself. sound wise its LOUD.. but hey its straight through. and gains i would assume are about normal for a highflow exhaust i noticed better low end and mid range power but the mileage went WAY DOWN as i put my foot through the floorboard and turnin those heavy *** tires i have.. here is some sound clips now for you. i get a chubby listenin to my truck so i love to plug it..
