Hey guys. i challenged the wrong denali today. lol. it was a 2005 or o 6.0 not the newer model, but the older one. Guy had a comp cam, supercharger, headers and a catback exhaust. it murdered me. i run 0-60 in 6.5 or so, this thing outran me to sixty by almost a car length. one fast tank it was. guy was telling about some other motor work he had done but i cant remember what all he said.

 

He only had you by 1 length and he had a supercharger?

 

that's pretty crappy if he had a supercharger and beat you buy one length lol. he shoulda trucked ur *** with that.

 

haha.....i wonder what the outcome would be if you had a supercharger and he didnt.....you certianly would have beat him by more than a car length........

 

I bet with only a superchips he could have beat him. With an STS........ Smoked....

Sounds like to me he was not running much boost, or he was not WOT.

But then again. Even with all the HP/T in the world if the driver sucks so does the auto.

 

yeah he told me he was only running about 3-4 lbs of boost. i want a turbo for my hemi. i think you can run one at 5lbs of boost with minimal modifications. then id like to pull back alond side him and have a rematch. nybody know of where to get a turbo system less than 4000 grand?

 

3-4 pounds isnt alot for how heavy he is. was he a denali truck or yukon denali? he should have walked you alot more than a car length... must have been a bad driver OR simply a GMC

 

i am running a 4.7 and beat a few 6.0 pickups,they said they were stock

 

my dad owned one GMC. never again.

 

For my wifes next car we are looking at the Yukon Denali. They are nice cars and the engine is powerful. With the AWD and large engine it is a great car.
