Here's what I did. I used window perf and sprayed it black.
Hanson: did he have to use a heat gun? How difficult was it for him?

no he didnt use a heat gun, he just threw it on there, cut it and it was good took him like 20 mins and that was taking his sweet time and a smoke/beer break. He used to tint windows tho so im sure that help a bit.

I believe it is 3M. You could call on a local sign shop and get a piece. Its called window perf and you'll need two pieces about 11"x18". They may have it in a 54" width that you could get a foot of or they may have it in 15". It's not cheap..
