Any of you guys notice that your air conditioning isn't as cold as most other cars out there. Or do i have a problem...it works, its much colder then not having the a/c on but compared to most other cars or trucks out there its nothing close...whenever i get into someone elses vehicle i always tell them to turn the a/c down cause its freezing cold

 

it could be cause of your quadcab......my dads reg cab gets cool very quick.......

 

You know, I never noticed the A/C not being cold enough, never an issue with me at all. But, I just installed an electric radiator fan, ditching the stock fan on the belt(and yes, I know the A/C condenser has it's own) as well as a 180* thermostat, and I could swear the A/C is blowing much colder air.

 

I've had my truck for over a year and didn't notice until last week...and now i cant stop noticing every time i'm in someone elses ride ...guess i'll just have to drive myself everywhere so it doesn't bother me lol

 

Yes I noticed too. My reg. cab is only a couple weeks old and I noticed that right away. My wifes accord will freeze you out. I have to keep my AC on recirc and third fan speed to maintain the accords non recirc 1 speed to stay cool. Nature of the beast I guess. Everything else works good as adverstised.

 

My Quad Cab gets real cold...

 

Mine blows freezing up until about 100 degrees, when it get shotter it leaves some to be desired though. It has been 110+ for a few weeks now during the day so the ac isn't blowing as cold as I would like it but at 115 degrees I can't expect it to be ice cubes coming out. It works the best at 95 and below I have noticed. The heat doesn't bug me too terribly much though, I am used to it as I live in a desert. Sheesh, it hasn't even rained in 2007 yet for me.

 

My quad will freeze you out, it blows about 44 F. Your system is probally low.

 

i've got two settings.. that my friends have started calling my A/C
inferno (heat) and icebox (cold)

 

I don't have a problem with mine either. Blows cold instantly. The only thing is when the truck sits in the sun for a long time, it takes about 10 minutes to cool the cab. Once the cab is cool, everything is good. As far as being worse than other cars, I can say that my AC beats any luxary cars out there. My jag sucks, the Caddy STS before that sucked, my friends lexus is even worse. The only car that I have been in that has a real good AC is the BMW. Those get real cold.
