twins would be a first. full set up will run in the neighborhood of 4-5k depending on parts. id go turbo but its been said the stock block wont take much more the 5-7psi. still thats well over 400-450whp. the hold up is the compression ratio but mainly the piston material. they have to much silica in them and arent the best choice for fi or nos. people still run just fine but remember to watch the boost levels.

Why do you say twins instead of just one turbo?

you could get more psi from one turbo then the engine could handle.......a twin setup would just make extra parts that could break......

I'd stick with a single on these trucks.

Nitrous would be another alternative to pick up big horsepower but keep your truck 100% stock for daily driving.

I agree. I have done a lot of research on the STS turbo. One is plenty if you want twin's you need to look at a major engine job. Hell, a stock engine can't handle all that single STS can toss at it.

Or run twins and then do the engine work later, because they will blow it.

go with the turbo. Free power, it takes engine power to produce extra power when using a supercharger.
