RE: Does a Tonneau really ........
In theory yes, it lowers your Drag Coefficient (Cd) by a large enough degree to affect fuel mileage. All the people I have talked to have confirmed an increase in mileage when they added it as well. Personally, I like the Access Lorado cover, but the Access covers tend to be more expensive than the other brands.

I am not so sure it did anything for my MPG. I might have but it would have only been minor. I highly recomend the Lund Genesis TRI-FOLD tonneau cover. I love it. It takes1 minuteto put on or take off. It also folds up and locks in the open position so you dont have to remove the tonneau cover when you are hauling big items. This is especially great when you are out shopping and didnt plan on buying a large box item that wont fit under the tonneau cover. Get your self a POP-Lock for your tailgate and everything under your tonneau cover is locked and secure. http://www.performanceproducts4truck...amp;pid=110451

Some of you guys are gonna throw the BS Flag, but I went riding this weekend. SoI had to take my cover off to put the 4-wheeler in the back. Well most of the time I get mid-too low 11's. With the wheeler in the back 13.1 with it out 13.8!!!! [:-]It was hard to beleive but it got better with it off. Pretty sure on road trips it would get better, but around town all this weekend I got better with the cover off. Dont know why or how but it did.
