RE: Rough Idle?
i did notice that sometime my truck when in D and stopped at a light tends to be a little rough, but if i glance at the rpms i also notice that its at 500, but when i'm in N its at 600 and the rough idle is gone....this is only sometimes it doesn't always go down to 500 rpms when in D, i just figure i've been standing still too long and the big engine doesn't like that

RE: Rough Idle?
yeah mine does this too, i've asked the dealer to set the idle a little higher, they said they did but it still idles at 500. if you turn on your A/C it will boost it up to 600 rpms and the rough ness will be mostly gone, also if i have my windows open i just hold the break and lightly tap the gas and it will stay at 600.

mine does it too....my 4.7 i had did it also.....i've went through and cleaned throttle bodies, done injector cleanings, everything i can think of to get up back around 700 where it normally idles but nothing i've tried will get it there.....i've just kinda accepted it and figure that at 500 rpm is burns less fuel then at 700 so i kinda like it lol
