Lifting ram 1500 2wd v8
I'm looking to lift my 2007 ram 1500 2wd v8.Most of the websites that I've searched, have said that thesuspension liftfits the 2002 - 2006 2wd ram 1500 models. Wouldthe liftwork for the 07 as well??
Need a link to what you're looking at. What I've found is that the 2wd suspension is the same on the 2002-2005 rams and thenthe 2006-2007 models are the same but are different from the 2002-2005 models. Confusing enough? So if they're saying it will work for 2006, it should work for 2007.

Some sites say 02 - 05 such as rough country and others for cst and Stillen say other wise.
This my first truck ever owned and I know nothing about lifting.

I would stick strictly to what they advertise for year. If the website makes it unclear, then ask them about it. You can never be too cautious, especially when buying online.
What I plan to get is this:

At about $800, you want to make sure what you're getting will work.

02-05 use Torsion Bars up front, 06 & 07 are Coil Overs. Your C/O's are are easier to design a lift for and since more trucks are designed with that setup, you'll find more companies offer level kits, lifts, etc. for that type of setup. Therefore, you will have more choices and best of all they will be cheaper than those made for torsion bars. Rancho has just released a fantastic suspension lift system for '06 & '07 Dodges with Coil Overs called a "Quick Lift", 9 position strut, shock, & spacer all in one for like $199!!!
Plus I've seen coil spacers to level your front for like $50 a pair.
I didn't have anything near this inexpensive when I did my T-Bar setup '04 4x4.
I know 2 people that have these already, very inexpensive, fits big tires and great ride quality compared to body lifts.
Here's a link to a review of the Rancho "Quick Lift":
