Thanks everyone for the help on this, from the options everyone has listed it sounds like the salesman was right about my truck being a lonestar edition. I am going to contact Dodge for a build sheet also,I will get some pics up as soon as my wife sends me some.

i just bought a new thunder road last week. no badges. i think i saw one that had them and they were on the sticker as costing extra if i remember right.
the thunder road does not include a tow package, as i found out by surprise. i drove one and was about to start negotiations when i realized there was no hitch.

Following info is on dodge.com and edmunds.com respectively, ran into this stuff when trying to research my imminent purchase of a new 1500 quad cab hemi with 20" rims last month. Ended up with a white Big Horn hemi.Quite happy with it,especially since discovering this support group!
Odd thing about the badging... I've seen '07 models with the Big Horn Edition badging on the doors, mine just has it on the tailgate. Yeah I know, BFD, I just thought it's rather odd.
Thanks for the tip on getting the build sheet! Another odd thing about my new truck is that it didn't have the factory sticker on it; dealer claims to have lost it, so they taped what looks like a computer printout of the invoice on the window. Getting the build sheet will give me confidence that I bought what I think I bought.
