Does anyone know what was the first year Dodge came out with the Lonestar Edition Ram? First of all, I know you can never trust a dealer, but the Salesman told my wife my Truck was a lonestar edition and has had the badges taken off. Like I said earlier I am new to the Dodge Truck world and don't understand the whole Debadgeing thing? I know that my tailgate has no badges on it at all, so the fact that it could be a lonestar is reasonable to me. I know the truck is fully loaded.What could I look for to find out? Thanks

A search of theNADA website shows (besides SL & SLT) only "Laramie", "Sport" & "Off Road" offered in 2004. 2005 added the Thunder Road package and 2006 offered "Lone Star" edition.

I just hit the Kelly Blue Book site, which has the exact same information.....

Regardless of the fact that this info could be inaccurate and the other 2 responders are correct, it appears that your wife has found the ONLY disreputable car salesman in the United States... Go figure...

 

I have an 03'. It has the Lone Star package but not the badging.

 

Has anyone ever spelled out what the LoneStar/Thunder Road package does include? Is it just a combination of popular options added to an SLT?

 

Yeah its on a couple threads here. The lonestar/thunderroad is the same as the big horn. Its 20" chrome rims, sliding rear window, towing package, factory sirius radio, 3.92 gear ratio, i think i'm missing something maybe someone can help me out

 

I personally dont like the debadging. I like people to see what I have. The truck we are looking at for my son is debadged so, does anyone have a place you can purchase replacement stickers.

 

ebay, if you watch it a bit you can get brand new ones pretty cheap and used ones even cheaper

 

I wish the Thunderroad had all that. Mine only had 20" silver wheels,sirius radio,slididng rear window.and the 3.92 gears. No badges or towing package (which is the main reason I bought the truck). I have read diferent places that says there supposed to have side mouldings and badges also BUT, they needed to save a few bucks I guess.
