Back up Camera??

Default Back up Camera??

Okay guys... so iv decided to hook up a back up camera to my indash tv monitor. I had a question as to how to run the cables to the front of the truck? Is there any opening that i can run the cables through the bed into the cabin?? any help is appriciated! thanks in advance!

Oh, joy. You're going to love backing up and turning to the right to avoid something to the left. I have no help I can provide for your specific problem.

drill a hole, run the wires, then fill it with epoxy?........thats proabably what i would do.......

Just run the wires along the frame with the rest of the wires to the rear and route it under the hood and go through the firewall. That would also allow you to fuse it and have the fuse under the hood also.

Thats how I would do it, that way you are already behind the dash and you don't have to go under carpet.

Thanks foiled.... i will be doing it this way to avoid the drilling... i will just need a huge! video cable :/

Is your truck Auto. or Std?? If it's an Auto. then simply remove the plastic cap that is bolted over the hole for the clutch linkage. This will give you about an 1 1/2 in hole, that should be sufficient. Then just fill the rest in w/ epoxy or silicone. Or you can do what I did and drill a hole in the plastic plug to just the size you need, then no excessive silicone!
