update on DCX job

update on DCX job
Well, just thought I would update you guys on how the job with DCX is going...or should i say Chrysler Group....all i can say is...."how frickin cool is this job!!!" lol...basically what i'm doing is testing the software on the vehicles using the StarSCAN (scan tool) and doing flash updates and all that fun stuff...
where the funnest part of the job comes in is getting to drive every vehicle the Chrysler Group makes...and yes that includes all the SRT vehicles
........there are alot of things I wish i could tell ya about what i've seen in there, but for obvious reasons i cant...i will tell ya this tho.....the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 is incredible...total change and i think it looks 100 times better then the 07's.....
i'll keep yall update as the job go along, i would try and get some pics for you guys, but they are very strict about PDA's, camera phones, dig cameras and all that stuff....but i'll keep ya updated as i see/hear things

Welcome to the DCX family. You will get to see all the TSB's and Recall before anyone else does. And maybe get to talk orsee the Star people( tech advisers for all service techs). Good luck and keep in touch. Leonard

no i cant really tell ya anything about it....it's under pretty tight wraps at the moment.....
master tech...i have dont really have anything to do with TSB's and Recalls.....everything i'm doing is making sure all the bugs are out of thevehicle before they go into production and working on flash updates for different controllers...i dont know how familiar you are with anything at the CTC or if you work there (which is where i'm at) but i'm in the DTO department...and i've been in the DCX family for quite awhile as i was a tech for 2 yrs but decided i wanted to make more money lol

Hey, congrats dude! I'm glad you got to see the new truck! I picked up the Truckin' magazine this month and they had a photo of the new 2009 Ram in it with the nose cover of course. It looks sick from what I've seen! Well, keep us updated on how fun the job is! Good luck and have fun!
