I'll checkthe temp guage for now on and see if my truck runs cooler.

 

How is Castrol syntec? I have never ran synthetic oils. I'm thinking about going synthetic to help fuel mileage.

 

You convinced me to try it. Just ordered some AMSOIL oil and filter. I will let you know what I think.

 

I have been very very happy with my mobil 1 and the mopar filter! I was thinking about using wix next time though or a mobil 1 filter not sure yet

i just put it in last oil change with both oil and filter i love it. the truck runs so much nicer and it also does run cooler i have noticed even at 65 bucks for oil and filter i am gonna keep usin it i used to use that torque power or whatever the hell it was and this doesnt even compare to quality.

 

How often are you changing the oil with amsoil it says you can go longer but I just dont know

 

It says you can go 7,500 miles but I do my oil changes every 3,000 miles with full synthetics. Yes, it is overkill, but I prefer to overkill and keep things safe.
