Ditto! I just looked in the manual... 89. lol. So I guess us HEMI owners should stick to 89. I've been using the 87. I never had any problem. God forbid I do.

Whattsup, fellow "newb"? I run 87, in my '04 Hemi. Every so often, the gas prices dip down enough for me to run a tank of the good stuff. I have not seen any issues (knocking-wise), with the 87 octane.

I run the 89 octane as stated in the manual. The price difference between 87 and 89 is only $0.06 a gallon here in NC. Filling up with 30 gallons of 89 octane is only a $1.80 more than the 87 octane. Run the 89! Red

thats the way i see it i just didnt know i was supposed to run mid grade....
