Default The "Stottlemobile"...

Hey Guys and Gals,

Finally got some photos of the Stottle Mobile. Looks so much better since I sold the cap and put on the toolbox. It's not a Hemi, but it's a damn nice ride. Recent upgrades include a cat back dual Flowmaster exhaust with the original 40 series (not the Super40 with the Delta Flow, a lot throatier), rally stripes on the bed, full rear window graphic, Duplicolor bedliner (couldn't afford the Rhino), new sneakers (General Grabber AT2's 275/70/17), new rotors and ceramic pads. I have a CAI coming in this week, hopin' to get more gumption out of it. The 4.7 is a little weak. Also have a Nitro box coming in this week, and a truck bed crane for picking up 1000lbs. This is my work vehicle - I am a traveling machinery serviceperson, and I use the truck for what it's meant for. I haul machinery in it, not groceries!

Hoping to get a little bit of lift in a year or two and some bigger rims and tires. Got a mortgage, so I can only do the inexpensive mods for now. I'd love some comments on cheap mods, and some feedback - Please be kind!

(bottom picture is my other work truck)

Dude can you PM me a pic of ur window sticker from that truck. I love the way the sport RCSB trucks look and I love the body color bumpers but I don't like the auto and hemi. I like the stick and 4.7L much much much better. ( I know it's not as powerful but I drive stick no exceptions) I'm looking at a truck just like what you have or a CTD with six speed manual. either truck i'd be happy with. but it seems on the dodge website you can't get the body color bumpers/grill without getting the hemi but you have it. What year is it or was it all done aftermarket I'm JW.

Give me a minute and I'll find the pic.
I got the window decal on eBay - It's an eagle with a cross, the american flag and the ten commandments.
I was leaning toward a 9/11 memorial decal, but I went with this one instead.
This truck is a 2003 1500 SLT, and it came that way with the matching bumpers and grille. I don't think you can get em that way anymore - all I see around town is the chrome on the 06's and 07's.

I got it on eBay from a company called MaxKreations. They have many different types - all high resolution.
Many different categories, animals, cars, army, navy Marines, landscapes, patriotic...etc.

Just go to eBay and search for rear window graphic

We have a Town Fair Tire in the next town over - they don't even carry the tires. I ordered them and they cam in 2 days later. All they had were Mastercraft Courser HTR's, and I didn't like them. These are a very agressive tread design for on/ off road. I travel off road sometime, but mostly highway. They would look to be loud on the road because of the tread, but they're actually rather quiet. little vibration at 65, other than that I love 'em. Major reason I got em is because of the increased payload. I think on tirerack.com the payload is listed as 2700lbs. - I use the truck to haul machinery, so I need the extra payload. The truck was used when I bought it, but the price was right. Couldn't afford more truck than what I've got....

I'm really likin' the low profile box. If I may, though, I'd like to make one suggestion to really jazz it up, and it's only about $100. Get the diamondplate side & tailgate guards. Not the best pic showing them, but trust me, they look great with a diamonplate box:

That is one sweet ride!

I definitely need the nerf bars, the bull bar in front, the chrome gas door, and the tail light guards.
All in good time!
