RE: 06/07 owners screwed by Dodge?
Hell, I have an '04 with the 7/70 and at 3 yrs. old with just 35k miles on it, I'd probably get laughed at if I tried to claim ANYTHING on the Powertrain Warranty. I've already changed gears, added CAI, LT Headers will be in next week, and if that ain't done me in, the Cam, retainers, springs, etc. is a month away...
If all you did was a Cat-Back exhaust, you'd probably still have to fight to get a warranty fix!!!

It's only partially the dealers....
As of late, there have been numerous reports on TV and media, regarding DC and their sloppy handling of warranty work. They want to sell the entire entity, and giving away free parts and labor isn't an interest to them.
Dealers are under giudlines for warranty repairs, as they're scrutinized by the bean counters that work in the upper offices.
You can only get away with a small percentage of the "give aways" that you used to 5-10 years ago........
Most dealers will look for anything to say you voided your warranty. I'm lucky enough to have a decent dealer to have to deal with.
When I swapped out my fan clutch, my dealership actually LENT ME THE TOOLS to hold the WP pully and remove the clutch shaft.
When have you EVER seen a dealer lend out tools?

That is very cool of them to lend tools out. I did use AutoZones tool loan program which was a big savings to me.
I am not upset about the warranty just like I can't be upset about those of you who get a better deal on your truck than I did. I was happy with my terms and made my decision. I hope the warranty extension helps them sell a bunch more Rams.

Well the 03-05 guys got a 7/70 warranty on their powertrain and the guys who buy know have the unlimited mileage, unlimited year warranty but the bulk of us 06/07 owners just have a 3/36 to cover the whole truck. I kind of feel screwed with this and it makes me real nervous, I have had my truck in on warranty tons of times and it is there right now so I may end up purchasing an extended warranty.
Do any of you guys feel screwed by dodge in the warranty department like I do?
