Flowmaster Quality

RE: Flowmaster Quality
check the link on my profile. some vids of my truck. the windows are up and you can still hear it. as for performance. I noticed a shift upwards in my powerband. seemed to pull a little harder under hard acceleration. I did my exhaust and intake the same day though so my expierience is a little skewed. the design on the original 40 is a little different. i get pretty good flow. correct me if im wrong but i think its the newer flowmasters with the delta flow that give the fow problems.

It's nice to hear others talking about the aero turbine at3030 and not me or hellbilly bringing it up. I bought mine from www.onestoptruckshop.com and it was about $180 for just the muffler. I know that is a little pricey but oh man does it sound great and it performs even better. I think it is only a matter of time before people catch on to this muffler and having it take off. It is great because it is a very nice, tuned sound but is still a straight through muffler and flows very nicely. I would suggest this muffler to anyone without any shadow of a doubt. Not only does this muffler sound great but it performs great as well. I was going for power when I chos emy muffler and I got it with the at3030 but I also got an amazing sound.
sorry for the little rant andrepeating myself multiple times, I'm a little drunk. I tried my hardest on good punctuation and grammar though!

RE: Flowmaster Quality
I was talking with the dude at the local performance shop (Hemi's is their specialty) and he actually pushes theFlowmaster, when I asked him why, he said that Trucks (unless they are 2wd drag racers) need a certain amount of "backflow", especially if headers & high flow/no cats are used or there is too much Torque lost at the low RPM band. A little bit at the muffler makes the truck perform better in mud, climbing, towing and all the low speed grunt work. So maybe we do have the right muffler...
I think all the negative Flowmaster talk is coming from the people who are mostly concerned with their 1/4 mile times... Where there are undoubltably better muffler choices for them...
