I'm not trying to sell my truck here, so please don't flag me.

I have been without a job for some time and my cash drought dosn't seem to be letting up anytime soon.

So I'm wondering if I can sell it. Its the one in my profile at the botom here. Only has 14K miles on it. I owe 34K.

Do ya guys think it would sell for what I owe if I put it up on cars . com or something?

They say its only worth like 28K but I think that site is way off lots of times. I see lesser trucks selling for more than that.

hate to bear the bad news...but it's not gonna sell for that. you can buy an '07 for less than 34. i tried to sell mine for 19,800 w/ 32,000miles...not even a single phone call...i know ours are slightly different...but still, not a single call

 

Sorry about your problems man, but I don't think you can get what you owe on the truck. Most people on here paid less for their trucks and got more. The only thing that I would say is to list it as Squirtbottle mentioned and see what happens. You could also list with the sale, can take over payments, some banks will tranfer loans if the other person has decent credit. The last thing, but also the worse thing is, you could turn it into the dealer. This is bad on your credit, but not nearly as bad collections and a repo. I hate to say this but you wont get 34k for the truck. You may get 21 to 23k for it. I realize it is a newer vehicle and a 2500 series but wont pay more. To boot you are now competing with Chrysler's new lifetime warranty on their powertrain.... I am sorry. If you cant afford it, you may want to just give it back.

 

You could trade it in for a 4 banger, cheap, cheap 4 banger. You will still have to paythe difference, but it wont be 34 large ones. Sorry to hear that dude, its a nice truck, but with the economy, housing andgas, people are not really into spending 34 large on a gas guzzler. The sad part, its just the beginning.

 

Every time I trade a vehicle in, I do my homework and have the KBB numbers in hand, ready to fight for EVERY dollar for my trade, and EVERY time the stealership tells me that KBB values are escalated 25-33% in favor of the consumer, and they whip out the NADA and that damn yellow book is ALWAYS at least 25% lower than the KBB.
So I hate to say, but with a KBB of $28k and the other factors mentioned already, $21-$23k is gonnabe a real figure... I hope I'm way off on this, but I don't think so.

 

you should think about shipping to the uk ! i've just bought an 03 1500 QCslt hemi for £14,500 so work that out in to $$$$$$$

these rams are few and far between over here so the price is very high !!!
