Vararam underglass ram air
A little better design than most,
especially the very large filter,
but the little indentations above the hose fittings
are suspect.
The dual hoses mounted low and directly in the airstream
will pickup more insects and road grit
meaning the filter will need cleaning/replacement much more often
and the air temperature is higher the closer to the hot pavement.
There should be some true 'ram air' effect because of the large plenum
surrounding the throttle blade opening.

don't know about that underglass thing, but i'll have one of the chick holding it in the picture please! i dont think its worth 500 bucks. if you want a true ram air. save the money and put it towards a shaker hood. they go for like 850 on ebay i think.
its a pretty sweet intake i say go for it if you want .. if you think about it it has to give you more hp than just an intake cause it shoving the air in, and considering what you're getting the price isn't all that bad .. but maybe go with headers first instead of this
...the dimples are suppose to help flow characteristics...I agree, if you have the money, go for it, but, if yur like most of us and have to budget for engine mods, your money would be better spent on other mods...and then, come back and re-visit this afterwards...
There is one guy on dodgetrickworld that has one of these intakes and he says it is amazing. He has an 03 QC that runs low 13's as well so it's not like he's just some shmo that bought the intake. Also, there are FAR better intakes out there than the K&N and the ebay ones.
