That looks pretty damned sweet! If you want it go for it. I dont know about the HP gains stated, but it looks cool as hell! It looks like the old Cuda and Challenger air cleaners from days gone by, I wouldnt mind having one purely for the astetics!

yeah it does look sweet!! but i was reading that it was a pain to put in a 03-04 because the overflow bottle is too big it doesnt seat rightand you need to buy an aftermarket one and relocate it and the hoeses melt because of the heat of the engine. does anyone have one of these or know anything about it? what do you prefer? K&N, volant? what do you guys use? thanks

I am kinda torn on the idea.
On one side, the whole ram air set up would be great and that is a great price compared to converting to a ram air hood and getting the kit to make it functional (much more expensive).
What I don't like is the orange cover because most people today will dress their engines chrome or a complimented color to their exterior. They should have made it available in other colors, or mention that it is paintable. The other thing that I don't like is dryer looking hoses. Again, back to dressing the motor, most owners are looking for sleek and modern and sometimes have some color or even chrome. Now if you don't plan on entering car shows, you are looking for HP gains and not to worried with being stuck on the look I would get it. It is a good set up.

What is the technical name for that plastic tubing they used to direct air from the front bumper to the intake?

hehe..wer havin a big debate over this in another forum...lol... it is a good intake, but, too pricey for me...I would just do the cheap ebay one (I did...$75.00)...and put your money into other engine mods...heck, all my mods wer at least $200 cheaper than that... ther are 5 hemi qc's na (no nos, no forced induction) that I know of runnin sub 14 qtr's...an none of us are runnin a vararam...
