my tires are 33x1250/17 on stock rim,i swear i could put 35's under it but the experts say on,not without 6's of lift,so if you go with 35's let me know how they work, good luck and happy wrenching.

I'll let you know. Who told you you can't fit 35's ?? I know you dont have a lift butyou cranked the keys right? I got the readylift kit for around $220 there website says 35's but I guess we'll see on Tuesday. Anyways heres the link to readylift where they say 35'sbout half way down the page to the white truck.

Muscleman I believe new shocks are in order. Previous threads have suggested to do so for extreme suspension flex. But everyday probably not I am going to get some Rancho RSX's or maybe pro-comp 2" over. The thing with just cranking up the torsion bars is that it takes the allignment off. Now you still need to doan allignmentwith the leveling kit but thegeometry stays closer with the kit. But like always its a matter of money. $ for the Kit + for the bigger tires. If you anything first check the height on both sides by measuring from the lower lip of the wheel to the lower edge of the wheel well. My truck was a 1/4" higher on the drivers side before the kit. (32 3/4" vs. 32 1/2") Now after only an hour of work they are both 35". The ready lift instructions stated that 1/4" crank of the bolts equals 1" of lift up front. Hope this helps.

Question: Is there much of an advantage to a TB?I've heard mixed things, some say it's just the dollars thrown into the truck and the ability to say you have it as an "upgrade." Any thoughts?

Nasty, you gottapost somepics of the dyno charts after you go. This would be great proof of power gains with your mods. Since a lot of us have the same mods it would be beneficial for all of us. When are you supposed to go?
