Been thinking about making some changes to my '03 Ram 4.7. Not sure where to start as far as the motor goes. Suggestions welcome !! I really don't want to add a cam to it yet, just want to help it out. It's 100% stock, gets around 20-21mpg highway and tops out @ 106mph (fast enough? maybe not)

Here is a list of the mods currently on my 4.7L quad Cab Ram.... Please make note of the 14.99@89.29MPH quarter mile time. Prior to the SCT the best I could do at the track was a 9.91 in the 1/8... the SCT has brought that down to a 9.49... OMG what a difference! If their are ANY questions please feel free to contact me.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 4.7 and Iwent to my locol muffler shop and asked if I could cut my cat off to get more horse power. he said that if i did that it would mess with the sencer and kill my mpg's. I was wondering if anyone had done this and if they felt any gains or if it had any negative effects any advice would be helpful.
I'm having the same problem as metalmoshing. It seems to be near impossiable for me to find anything for my 4.7 powered Ram. I'm also looking to try and stay bugeted with my purchases.
2006 4x4 single cab 4.7
My K$N full intake made a noticible differrnce in power and responce, and can help GPH or hurt, depending on how i drive!
The flowmaster 40 series also helped in a similar manner.
HOWEVER, I just put on a Street performance (brand) throttle body spacer, and i do not feel any improvement in power what so ever. the whistling isnt really a problem, but the 9 MPG im getting now compared to the 15-20 MPG I was getting is a big problem. I am actually going to call this company and try and return the product...
did anyone else have this problem.

On the SCT site, go to products at the top of the page, and it lists Dodge/Chrylsler. After clicking to the products page, go to the bottom left and it lists Dodge trucks.
As far as throttle body spacers go, the only two good things I've ever heard about them is some people like the whistling noise and they make good paper weights.
My understanding is that KRC is a dealer for the SCT programmer, and they write tunes for it.
