I have another solution! I did this to get my clothes from AZ to FL, andI had it packed! I boutha cargo holding bar. it expands then you screw it to expand the ends. they have rubber feet so they don't slide. I could hang on the bar and it would hold. (I weight 140lbs).

I use a shower rod. One that you turn to extend and tighten between 2 points. I use it my cab and the bed of my truck with my cap. Doesn't damage anything and easily taken in/out. Also strong enough to hold up a fair amount of clothing.

 

I htink we had simular ideas. I tried the shower rod at first when i was trying to solve this problem, but it doesn't hold up well with all my clothes, so i looked around for the same concept just a stronger version.

Dude I was going to say, use the shower bars that extend. They have the suction at the end that when you turn the bar, it creates friction and keeps them in place. You know, they way the attach in the shower tiles, but in this case on your glass. It might work, if it doesnt, you can always return it to Walmart.

you can run a dowell from the rear seat to the dash.....then you dont have too see her face when she gives you hell for not coming up with a better idea!!
