Default emblems and paint

I was wondering if I took the chrome emblems off if will leave a darker outline of were the emblems used to be. The truck is a 03 so its been sitting out for awhile. Would it be possible to buff it out or wax it. Oh and the color is black.

it will show for a while, but if you keep washing and waxing the truck regularly they will eventually blend together.

fishing line, goo gone careful with a heat gun, don't want to bubble the paint, do a search and you can find some really detailed threads about this that will walk you right through it.

yeah fishing line is great to seperate them with. the worst part is getting the adhesive off. i took them off on my last vehicle. the hemi looks too good for me to remove it on this truck.

well i just finished and all i have to say is WOW! It was super easy becuase i had a dremel too with a weird cloth typer wheel and it too the adhesive off in a matter of minutes. I also had maxima degreaser/parts cleaner thattakes the adhesive right when it touches it. Didn't ruin the paint though. It took me about an hour to do everything even wax the spots.
