personally i believe that there are a few better intakes out there than k&n. I went with an AFE stage 2 high breather. I didnt base my selection on hp/tq. claims. seems to me that most manufacturers are going to skew there results one way or another anyway. I was looking for a massive filter, some kind of composite material (plastic not metal tubing) and also i wanted a powder coated heat shield. I wanted a larger intake volume also, because i new i was not going to stop at just the intake. I'm not going to lie. I factored in how cool it looked also.

eitherway you go on the cai i dont think its going to cost you more than 5 poinies difference on any cai.

 

I have true flow and its sweet. If your ram is 05 you can get thier badass XDi intake.

 

yeah i've never been a fan of k&n....i have an AEM Brute Force on my truck and i love it...came with a heat sheid that seals against the hood, the filter sits down behind the headlight and draws in air where the factory intake did and it looks cool lol

 

yeah , the brute force is a good cai also. I contemplated buying it when i was searching for my intake.

 

ALRIGHT GUYS HERE'S ONE FOR YA .. GO TO GOOGLE AND TYPE IN AIR FORCE ONE INTAKE, THOSE ARE BAD A** , SUPER HIGH FLOW AND THEY LOOK VERY NICE .. I KNOW A GUY WITH ONE ON HIS HEMI AND I CAN TELL A DEFINITE DIFFERENCE OVER HIS OLD K&N .. AND THEY'RE MUCH CHEAPER .. CHECK IT OUT GUYS
